About the event

The Otis & Rosie Brown Foundation was founded by Thasunda Brown Duckett in honor of her parents, Otis and Rosie Brown. They were two people who showed what it means to give generously and live with purpose. The foundation carries that example forward by recognizing and investing in people who serve their communities the same way.
On Saturday, November 21, 2026, we invite you to the Dinner and Awards Gala, our signature evening of celebration. Over dinner, we'll honor this year's awardees, share the stories behind their work, and highlight the impact your support makes possible.
